Gloucester fired up for the Saints
November 1, 2002

Gloucester, smarting from their first reverse of the season, will be fired up for Northampton's visit to Kingsholm.

Previous encounters between Gloucester and Saints have often proved feisty, and neither pack is noted for taking a backward step in the heat of battle.

The scrum-half contest should prove especially intriguing, throwing together England number nine rivals Andy Gomarsall and Matt Dawson.

England boss Clive Woodward names his team for next week's Twickenham showdown with New Zealand on Monday.

Gloucester are set to field lock Adam Eustace, who was sent off after just four minutes against Wasps for stamping and arguably cost his side any realistic victory chance.

Eustace faces a Rugby Football Union disciplinary panel in Coventry next Thursday, when his case will be heard by RFU Council members Richard Moon, Paul Murphy and Bob Taylor.
