Russia v Spain postponed
November 9, 2002

The crucial World Cup qualifier between Russia and Spain scheduled for Saturday in Moscow has been postponed due to a snow covered pitch.

No alternative date has yet been announced for the fixture.

Russia were due to go into the fixture with a 36-3 advantage from the first leg.

The winner on aggregate from the two legs will face Tunisia in a two leg play-off and the winner of that series will then play a home-and-away series against USA with the winner of that series claiming the Repechage 1 spot in Pool B at RWC'03 along with France, Scotland, Fiji and Japan.
