Larkham in doubt for England clash
November 11, 2002

The Wallabies may be without five-eighth Stephen Larkham for Saturday's Twickenham Test against England.

With an already bulging injury list that worsened even more when Owen Finegan dislocated his shoulder in the shock 18-9 loss to Ireland at Lansdowne Road, Larkham is battling tightness in a hamstring.

While coach Eddie Jones is confident Larkham will recover in time to take on the English, fullback Mat Rogers looks an unlikely starter as he continues to battle a rib cartilage injury.

Hooker Jeremy Paul may return after missing with a hamstring strain, but forward David Lyons looks set to miss again with a hip problem, with Jones to make a decision on Rogers, Paul and Lyons on Tuesday.

Jones is also expecting a tough encounter against England, regardless of what happens with all Australia's injuries, after watching the hosts dust off the All Blacks 31-28 at Twickenham on Saturday.
