Gregan embarks on whirlwind trip

Wallaby skipper George Gregan has embarked on a whirlwind round-trip back home to Australia to be at his wife's side for the birsth of his second child.

Gregan was on his way out of Dublin's Lansdowne Road groun dbefore the cheering had subsisded after Ireland's historic triumph and he aims to be back in London on Wednesday morning.

He will join up with the rest of the Wallaby squad as they prepare to avoid a third straight loss to England at Twickenham on Saturday.

Prop Bill Young also left the Wallabies' tour last week for a trip home for the birth of his first baby, William.
