Marsh set to be out for three months

France centre Tony Marsh is set to be ruled out for three months after surgery on his injured groin.

The Kiwi born centre, 30, was forced to withdraw from this autumn's international squad with the injury and is expected to undergo surgery in the next few days.

Reports from his club doctor at Montferrand suggets he will be sidelined for around three months which will see him return for France's defence of the Six Nations Championship.
