Canada side to face Wales
November 14, 2002

Canada will have some familiar faces in their team when they line up against Wales in the Millennium Stadium on Saturday.

The tourists have selected three forwards who all play for Welsh clubs; Bridgend's Jon Theil, who used to play for Sale, Newport's Rob Snow and Cardiff's John Tait.

Canada will meet Wales in the World Cup in Australia next year and so coach David Clark will use the game to have an early look at his opponents.

Pat Dunkley will captain the side in the absence of Al Charron, who will not play despite his return to the squad after having to fly home following the unexpected death of his father.

However, Cardiff flanker Danny Baugh will not be involved as he has been sidelined over an insurance issue with Rugby Canada.
