2003/04 European dates announced

The 2003/04 Heineken Cup and Parker Pen competitions will begin on December 3 next year - giving the Northern Hemisphere's top players barely two weeks rest after the World Cup.

Round One: 5-7 December
Round Two: 12-14 December
Round Three: 9-11 January
Round Four: 16-18 January
Round Five: 23-25 January
Round Six: 30 January-1 February/B>
Quarter Finals: 9-11 April
Semi Finals: 24-25 April
Final: 22-23 May

ERC Chief Executive Derek McGrath commented, "The early release of the fixture dates has been designed to give the unions of England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland, Wales, Spain and Romania as much time as possible to arrange their domestic tournaments in an extremely busy World Cup season."
