Principality Cup Quarter-Final Draw

Pontypridd will next month continue the defence of their Principality Cup with a difficult trip to Cardiff.

They followed the capital city side out of the hat for the quarter-finals tonight and Lynn Howells knows it will be difficult going back to his former club.

The Pontypridd coach said ahead of the clash, which will take place on the weekend of March 14-15: ``We shall look forward to it - but it won't be easy.''

Welsh Premiership leaders Bridgend will be happy with their home draw against Swansea while a mouth-watering tie brings together the two Gwent clubs, Ebbw Vale and Newport.

In the final tie of the round the Scarlets will entertain Neath.

The following draw has been made for the quarter-finals of this season's Principality Cup.

Bridgend v Swansea
Ebbw Vale v Newport
Llanelli v Neath
Cardiff v Pontypridd
