Wallaby Latham linked with Munster
March 4, 2003

Australia and Queensland Reds full-back Chris Latham has been linked with a move to Irish province Munster after this year's World Cup.

Latham, capped 32 times at full-back or on the wing, is fighting Mat Rogers and Matt Burke for a Wallaby Test place and the 27-year-old is likely be one of the many Super 12 stars seeking a big European payday after October's World Cup.

A move to Munster would reunite Latham with 1999 World Cup-winning squad colleague Jim Williams, who captained the Irishmen to a Celtic League triumph over Neath last month, although coach Alan Gaffney, also an Australian, insists the deal is far from complete and Wasps are also reported to be interested.
