March 6, 2003

Channel 4 is making a new prime-time series called The People's Book of Records - a show where ordinary people set unlikely records - and they think Scrum's readers could help out.

The producers are searching the country for the people's champion in a variety of light-hearted categories, including "The Most Cauliflowered Ears".

The television production company behind the show are Endemol UK, makers of programmes such as Big Brother and Fame Academy.

The comedy show will be called The People's Book of Records. Its going to be aired on Friday nights at 9.30pm starting on the 21st of this month.

The idea behind the show is for members of the public to break bizarre and amusing records and to become the people's records holder in a variety of fun categories.

Other light-hearted categories set to feature on the show are "The Most Typical Looking Geography Teacher", "The Toughest Toddler" and "The Most Regretted Tattoo".

If you think you could take the title, or know anyone else who might, just call David on 0208 222 4693 or email us at records@endemoluk.com.
