Six Nations Match Officials
December 4, 2003

The match officials for next year's Six Nations Championship have been announced, with a blend of experienced and less familiar faces.

Following the tough schedule laid down by the rigours of a Rugby World Cup the absence of certain 'big name' referees is understandable.

By the same token the introduction at this level of some lesser known referees maintains the IRB's policy of bringing through the next generation of match officials.

The referees for this year's matches are as follows:

February
14 - France v Ireland - Chris White (ENG)
14 - Wales v Scotland - Donal Courtney (IRE)
15 - Italy v England - Andy Turner (SA)
21 - France v Italy - Alan Lewis (IRE)
21 - Scotland v England - Pablo Deluca (ARG)
22 - Ireland v Wales - Joel Jutge (FRA)

March
6 - Italy v Scotland - Nigel Whitehouse (WAL)
6 - England v Ireland - Paul Honiss (NZ)
7 - Wales v France - Stuart Dickinson (AUS)
20 - Ireland v Italy - Kelvin Deaker (NZ)
20 - England v Wales - Andrew Cole (AUS)
21 - Scotland v France - Scott Young (AUS)
27 - Wales v Italy - Mark Lawrence (SA)
27 - Ireland v Scotland - Nigel Williams (WAL)
27 - France v England - Alain Rolland (IRE)
