Reds delay naming side
March 11, 2004

The Reds have been forced to delay naming their side for Saturday's game against the Blues as a series of injuries effect the squad.

Four Reds players are currently under a cloud, including hookers Sean Hardman and Tai McIsaac, fullback Chris Latham and centre Junior Pelesasa.
Hardman and McIsaac are struggling with shoulder and calf muscle injuries respectively, with 21-year-old Stephen Moore brought into the squad to cover.

Moore made his only Super 12 appearance against the Bulls in Pretoria last year.

The injuries to Latham (hamstring) and Pelesasa (chest) have forced coach Jeff Miller to call up 18-year-old winger Digby Ioane.

The fitness of the quartet may not be known until Friday with the Reds skipping a training run on Thursday to attend the funeral of Damien Drew, the Brisbane Souths prop who collapsed and died during training on the weekend.
