New Zealand 7s sold out

The full house sign is already up for next year's AXA New Zealand International Sevens tournament in Wellington.

Tickets went on sale to the public yesterday and sold out within the day.

Tournament Director Steve Dunbar said: "It's very exciting to see so much support for the tournament. While it's disappointing some fans missed out yesterday, many are now on a wait list for any tickets returned before the event."

Mr Dunbar said fans can expect the 2005 tournament to be even bigger and brighter than this year's event.

The tournament will be held at Wellington's Westpac Stadium on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 February 2005.
