Bray, Walsh to control Lions' midweek matches

Lyndon Bray and Steve Walsh will control the touring Lions rugby team's next two games against New Zealand provincial sides Manawatu and Auckland.

Bray will do Tuesday's match against Manawatu in Palmerston North and Walsh will take charge of their match against Auckland in Auckland the following Tuesday.

Kelvin Deaker will be touch judge at both games, while Walsh will be touch judge for the Manawatu match and Paul Honiss will be touch judge for the Auckland match.

Paddy O'Brien, who was not considered due to injury, will be the television match official for both games.

Tomorrow: All Blacks v Lions, first test, Jade Stadium, Christchurch

Referee: Joel Jutge (France). Touch judges: Andrew Cole (Aust), Stuart Dickinson (Aust). TV official: Scott Young (Aust).

June 28: Manawatu v Lions, Palmerston North.

July 2: All Blacks v Lions, second test, Westpac Stadium, Wellington.

July 5: Auckland v Lions, Eden Park, Auckland

Referee: Steve Walsh. Touch judges: Paul Honiss, Kelvin Deaker. TV official: Paddy O'Brien

July 9: All Blacks v Lions, third test, Eden Park.

Referee: Jonathan Kaplan. Touch judges: Stuart Dickinson (Aust), Mark Lawrence (Sth Africa). TV official: Andrew Cole (Aust).
