Ashley-Cooper joins Wallabies

Wallaby coach Eddie Jones has called up Australian Under-21 and ACT Brumbies outside back Adam Ashley-Cooper ahead of Saturday's Test against the Springboks at Subiaco Oval.

Ashley-Cooper comes into the squad in place of the injured Mark Gerrard who is ruled out with a hamstring injury.

"Adam is a skillful young player who joined us earlier in the year at a Skills Day in Sydney and showed plenty of talent," said Jones.

"He gained some good experiences in the Super 12 this year and for the Australian Under 21s in Argentina. He is a strong runner and is physically equipped to play Test match rugby."
