Hadden has been forced to rule fly-half Gordon Ross out of the remainder of Scotland's campaign after tests showed he sustained a broken hand during Wednesday's match. The Castres player slotted eight points to help Scotland over the winning line, but an X-ray showed the damage which is set to keep him sidelined for a month. Hadden said: "It was a real pity for Gordon. He was kicked just above the wrist as he went down to pick up a ball late in a game in which he'd worked very hard, making 14 tackles.'' Borders fly-half Steve Jones has been placed on standby for the rest of the tournament. |
