The Glasgow Warriors trained at one of Scotland's most advanced facilities today in preparation for the biggest game in the club's history at Firhill Arena tomorrow night.

Murray Park, the state-of-the-art training facility of Rangers FC, was made available to Glasgow's professional rugby team by Rangers chairman Sir David Murray in recognition of the importance of Friday night's Heineken Cup clash against English Premiership side Saracens.

A win for the Warriors could see them progress through to the quarter-final stages of the competition for the first time in the club's history.

Sir David, whose business Murray International Holdings is a major supporter of Scottish Rugby, said: "It's a massive game for the Warriors at Firhill on Friday night, and I am pleased to be able to help them prepare. I'm passionate about rugby and football so I am delighted to see teams from both sports making use of what is a magnificent facility at Murray Park."

Glasgow Warriors head coach Sean Lineen added: "The players and I are very grateful to Sir David Murray for his generous offer to train at Murray Park today.

"This opportunity has given the whole squad a huge lift ahead of tomorrow night, which is great for our preparation. Some of the boys are especially pleased given there are a few big Rangers fans in the squad."
