Cockbain cited for alleged stamping

Former Wales lock Brent Cockbain has been cited for alleged foul play during a Guinness Premiership game.

Cockbain, who joined Sale Sharks from the Ospreys earlier this season, faces a Rugby Football Union disciplinary hearing next Monday.

He has been reported by match citing officer Matt Bayliss for allegedly stamping during Sharks' Premiership defeat against Worcester four days ago.
