Italy have named an unchanged team to face Scotland in Rome on Saturday with a five-point win the target if the Azzurri are to avoid the Six Nations Championship wooden spoon.

Andrea Masi starts his fifth straight match at fly-half - as promised by coach Nick Mallett before the tournament began.

Despite seeing his team lose 25-13 to France in Paris last Sunday, Mallett has decided to stick with his starting XV.

Cammi Calvisano's Alessandro Zanni will again deputise for Mauro Bergamasco, who is unavailable through suspension.

The Azzurri go into the last encounter of the tournament looking for their first win of 2008 after four defeats.

Since joining the championship in 2000, Italy have beaten Scotland twice, including last year's 37-17 triumph at Murrayfield which marked their first away victory.
