The tale of the tape favours the World Champion Springboks as Scotland and South Africa go head to head at Murrayfield this Saturday.

In a history of competition that dates back to 1906, the Springboks have taken the spoils on 16 occasions, with the Scots victorious in four. Judging by some encouraging signs in their defeat to New Zealand last weekend, and the Springboks' struggles in Cardiff, Frank Hadden's men will be hoping to record their first win over South Africa since 2002.

The last time the Springboks visited Murrayfield there was little to cheer for the Scots as they were defeated 27-3 in a warm up for the 2007 Rugby World Cup, a tournament that South Africa of course went on to win.
