Munster have named a squad of 23 for their commemorative rugby match against the All Blacks at Thomond Park in Limerick next Wednesday.

Former All Black Doug Howlett is included alongside former New Zealand Maori captain Rua Tipoki and Taranaki midfielder Lifemi Mafi.

The composition of the squad may change if Munster players currently attached to the Irish test team are released after Sunday's (6.15amNZT) test against the All Blacks here at Croke Park.

Munster provide 11 players in the Irish match-day 22 and although they are unlikely to be released, the province's other squad members may be freed for the match which marks the 30th anniversary of Munster's 12-0 victory over Graham Mourie's Grand Slam team.

"Right now these are the players we have training at the moment while the autumn internationals are taking place," coach Tony McGahan said.

"Obviously those games take precedence and we have to just wait and see what the international management require in terms of players following on from the All Blacks game into another international (against Argentina)."

Munster: Federico Pucciariello, Timmy Ryan, Dave Ryan, Frank Sheahan, Denis Fogarty, Donncha Ryan, Mark Melbourne, James Coughlan, John O'Sullivan, Niall Ronan, Justin Melck, Billy Holland, Barry Murphy, Kieran Lewis, Brian Carney, Anthony Horgan, Doug Howlett, Lifeimi Mafi, Rua Tipoki, Paul Warwick, Jeremy Manning, Conor Murray, Mike Prendergast.
