Sale flanker Luke Abraham has been banned for two weeks after being found guilty of striking by an RFU disciplinary panel.

Abraham was cited after he head butted Bath centre Alex Crockett during Bath's 24-20 win over the Sharks at the Recreation Ground on December 20. Abraham has been banned from December 24, 2008 - when the citing was issued - to January 7, 2009. He is free to play again on January 8.

There was also bad news for Northampton Saints, with No.8 Roger Wilson copping a five-week ban for a dangerous tackle on Harlequins skipper Will Skinner.

Wilson pleaded guilty to the charge after being cited for the offence during the match at Franklin's Gardens on December 20 and is suspended until February 9. He is free to line up for the Saints again on February 10.
