Leeds Carnegie maintained their 100% record in National One thanks to a 39-10 win over London Welsh at Headingley.

Neil Back's men notched up yet another bonus-point thanks to tries from Jonny Hepworth, Leigh Hinton, returning hooker Vili Ma'asi and a late effort from Danny Paul. Leeds are now eight points clear of nearest rivals Exeter, who themselves secured a bonus point win over Sedgeley Park on Saturday.

With hopes of keeping the pressure on the leaders, Exeter cut loose with England Sevens international Josh Drauininiu crossing for one of six tries.

Bedford also made strides up the table as they capitalised on Nottingham's 25-14 loss at Doncaster. The Blues moved into third spot after a 23-9 away win over Coventry. In a feisty derby fixture the Blues took all five points thanks to tries from Paul Tupai, Ollie Dodge, Will Harries and Mouritz Botha.

Doncaster's win over Nottingham also allowed them to jump up the table into fourth, level on points with Bedford, thanks to tries from Hudson Tonga'uiha, Wes Davies and Jamie Lennard.

Moseley registered an impressive 43-21 win over Rotherham at home, with the victory lifting them above their opponents into ninth. Plymouth pulled further clear of London Welsh in sixth thanks to a 23-15 win over Otley, while a significant win came for Esher as the relegation candidates closed the gap on Coventry and Rotherham with a 49-18 win over Newbury.

In Sunday's second game, Cornish Pirates heaped further woe on bottom-placed Manchester with a 25-10 home win.
