Ulster have been rocked by a host of injuries in the wake of their Heineken Cup quarter-final loss to Saracens.

While Ulster are out of the Heineken Cup, they are still competing for the RaboDirect PRO12 title lying in third with four games left. But it seems they will have to manage their season run-in without a host of their front-line players.

Hooker Rory Best picked up a "significant ankle sprain", according to the province, and will be out for between six and eight weeks. Scrum-half Ruan Pienaar suffered a recurrence of his shoulder injury and will be out for at latest six weeks.

Andrew Trimble was concussed and will follow the return to play protocols while Dan Tuohy has a fractured hand, he needs surgery and is not expected back until May.

Tight-head John Afoa has a disc injury in his back and will miss their game against Connacht while back-row Roger Wilson has a fractured thumb and will be out until May.
