England should have another look at Danny Cipriani, according to Austin Healey.

Cipriani was named Aviva Premiership Player of the Month on Wednesday after a series of match-winning performances for Sale. Cipriani's last international cap came in 2008 but time in Melbourne for the Rebels and some off-field issues saw him fall out of the international reckoning.

But Cipriani is showing signs of being back to his best and Healey feels he should be in the frame for international selection.

"The fortunes and abilities of Danny and Sale seem to have run in tandem over the past 18 months and the comparisons are no coincidence," Healey said. "He has successfully transformed his game from a reckless talent to an influential and controlling No.10 and now warrant serious consideration for further honours.

"Danny has always had a maverick inside waiting to break out at any stage, which he still has. A maverick playing within a structured game plan is very dangerous."
