One of rugby's great mercurial talents Rupeni Caucaunibuca completed his return to French rugby on Monday with a move back to his old side Agen.

Caucau left Agen in 2010 to sign for Toulouse and following a season plagued by injury, Caucau left French rugby in 2012 to return to Fiji. He played for Northland in the 2013 ITM Cup and has also run out for Tana Umaga's Asia Pacific Dragons side but he told ESPN back in March he was keen to have another crack at full-time rugby.

And Agen have agreed to give him another chance. Their president Alain Tingaud admitted Caucaunibuca had made mistakes in the past - the winger has a chequered history of off-field ill-discipline - but in his own words, "who does not?"

Caucau has had his medical at Agen and Tingaud is happy he satisfies all of their requirements. "It was very important that he fulfilled certain conditions," Tingaud told Midi Olympique. "He's satisfied our demands in terms of weight, our tests and the date of arrival I'd fixed. He's not the same man."
