Profile

Kenny Logan made his Scotland debut against Australia in 1992, slotting in at fullback as his side was beaten 37-13 in Brisbane. After making his debut he found opportunities on the international stage limited, waiting until the 1994 Five Nations before nailing down a position in the starting XV.

After doing so he was selected for the 1995 Rugby World Cup in South Africa, starting four games. He went on to represent Scotland in four games at the 1999 tournament after helping them to the Five Nations title earlier in the year, also serving as the Scots' front-line goal-kicker during this period. He retired from international rugby in 2003 after competing at this third World Cup, making five appearances as Scotland were knocked out at the quarter-final stages.

With the advent of professionalism Logan joined London Wasps, with whom he played for seven years, also playing for Glasgow and London Scottish during his career.

Off the field, Logan has endured a struggle with severe dyslexia, which left him unable to read until the age of 27. Motivated by his wife, TV presenter Gabby Logan nee Yorath, he enrolled on the Dore program, helping him past his literacy problems.

Following his retirement from playing, Logan was a contestant on the BBC TV series Strictly Come Dancing.
