Glasgow Warriors have received a boost ahead of the RaboDirect PRO12 game against the Dragons with the news that Chris Fusaro, Ryan Grant and Duncan Weir have all signed new two-year contracts with the club.

Warriors chief executive Kenny Baillie was understandably thrilled at having menaged to persuade three of the club's most promising young players to commit until the end of the 2013-2014 season.

"Chris, Ryan and Duncan have proved they are key players for Glasgow Warriors, and we're delighted they see us as club where they can achieve their aspirations and continue their individual development," he told the club's official website.

"It's fantastic news to have secured the players so early - it sends out a positive message to our supporters and allows the players to focus on continuing to deliver quality performances.

"Glasgow Warriors are committed to improving results on and off the field. In the past three weeks, we've taken great heart from the early contracting of three of the most talented individuals in our squad, the announcement that we will be using Scotstoun Stadium as our playing base from next season, and the excellent away wins over Cardiff Blues and European champions Leinster.

"The raft of new sponsors we have recently confirmed provides further evidence that the club is moving in the right direction.

"It's great that the players are excited by our plans, and their contribution will be vital as we work to ensure the club fulfils its undoubted potential."
