Ospreys lock Ian Gough faces an anxious wait after being cited following their loss to Saracens on Friday.

Saracens overcame the RaboDirect PRO12 side 16-13 at the Liberty Stadium and Gough is alleged to have carried out a dangerous tackle on Saracens hooker Schalk Brits during the second-half. Gough is said to have violated Law 10.4 (j) - the infamous tip tackle - which states: Lifting a player from the ground and either dropping or driving that player's head and/or upper body into the ground whilst the player's feet are off the ground.

Gough will face a hearing in Dublin on Thursday, December 22, with England's Jeremy Summers chairing. Possible penalties range from a low end offence earning three weeks to a top end offence which is anything between 10 and 52 weeks.

And Gough is joined in being cited by Treviso's Francesco Minto. Minto will face a disciplinary hearing on the same day after being hauled up for his red card against Biarritz. The back-row was dismissed for 'striking an opponent with his head' - in this case Biarritz scrum-half Yann Lesgourgues.
