Wales hope to be able to call upon a host of their stellar names for the Six Nations match with England next weekend.

Warren Gatland's charges were put through their paces on Wednesday at an open training session at the Millennium Stadium and Wales hope that star winger George North will be fit to face Stuart Lancaster's team at Twickenham. North limped off during Wales' 27-13 win over Scotland on Sunday with a sprained ankle and he has been undergoing rehab with a view to featuring in training next week.

And Wales are hopeful that he will be joined by Huw Bennett (calf) and Ryan Jones (dead leg). The pair are undergoing treatment on their respective injuries and while Jones captained Wales against Scotland, Gatland will hope to be able to call on skipper Sam Warburton to face England.

Warburton failed a late fitness test prior to Sunday's match and he is expected to be in training next week - alongside Justin Tipuric. And with Wales turning to Ken Owens for much of their match with Scotland, first choice hooker Matthew Rees is said to be recovering well from his calf injury and looks set to be in the reckoning to face England.
