France have named Frederic Michalak at fly-half ahead of their match with Australia in Paris on Saturday.

Philippe Saint-Andre opted to blood some fresh faces on their summer tour of Argentina and rested some of their more familiar figures. But he has kept the faith with a couple of the surprise tourists with Brice Dulin set to earn his third cap at fullback. Wesley Fofana starts on the wing for the second time in the blue of France while Saint-Andre has retained the centre partnership that played in that last Test in Tucuman against the Pumas.

With Morgan Parra missing a few days of training due to an injury, Maxime Machenaud gets the nod at scrum-half while in the back-row Yannick Nyanga fills in for injured Toulouse team-mate Thierry Dusautoir and starts alongside Louis Picamoles and Fulgence Ouedraogo.

The lock combination that played against the Pumas is kept the same with skipper Pascal Pape lining up with Yoann Maestri while in the front-row, Nicolas Mas, Dimitri Szarzewski and debutant Yannick Forestier pack down alongside each other.

France:

Brice Dulin, Wesley Fofana, Florian Fritz, Maxime Mermoz, Vincent Clerc, Frederic Michalak, Maxime Machenaud, Louis Picamoles, Fulgence Ouedraogo, Yannick Nyanga, Yoann Maestri, Pascal Papé (c), Nicolas Mas, Dimitri Szarzewski, Yannick Forestier

Replacements: Benjamin Kayser, Thomas Domingo, Vincent Debaty, Jocelino Suta, Damien Chouly, Morgan Parra, Francois Trinh-Duc, Yoann Huget
