France have handed a debut to Jules Plisson ahead of Saturday's Six Nations Test against England.

Plisson steps into the fly-half berth vacated by the injured Remi Tales while there is no place in the squad for Montpellier's Francois Trinh-Duc. With Thierry Dusautoir crocked, Pascal Pape takes on the captaincy with Bernard Le Roux starting at openside.

Wesley Fofana and Mathieu Bastareaud will offer some power in the centres with Jean-Marc Doussain handed the scrum-half shirt.
