France Under-20s sealed their first ever Grand Slam as they defeated Ireland Under-20s 23-13 in their final game to be crowned Six Nations champions.

With England Under-20s hammering Italy 52-5 earlier on Friday, France went into their match knowing a defeat would gift the title to England. Conor McKeon kicked Ireland in front but the French rallied to lead 10-3 at the break following a try from Romain Ruffenach and Baptiste Serin's conversion.

Further second-half penalties from Serin extended France's lead and their victory was sealed when replacement Florian Ardiaca went over in the dying minutes. Serin converted to put the tie beyond Ireland and the title beyond England.

Tries from Joel Conlon, Maro Itoje, Harry Sloan, Aaron Morris, Tom Woolstencraft, Callum Braley, Henry Purdy and Nathan Earle plus five conversions from Sam Olver and one from Aaron Morris gave England a comfortable win over Italy.

In the Friday's other match, Wales Under-20s cruised to a 43-15 win against Scotland Under-20s.
