Wales could be without captain Sam Warburton for the summer tour of South Africa after he dislocated his shoulder in the closing stages of their win over Scotland.

Wales finished their campaign on a high but the news of Warburton's injury will dampen the mood. Warren Gatland confirmed the news post-match, saying: "It looks like he's dislocated his shoulder and they had to put it back in after the game.

"It looks like he'll be ruled out for the rest of the season and probably the tour as well. He's being scanned tomorrow [Sunday] and the likelihood is he'll probably need an operation on that."

The news follows Wales' announcement this week that Leigh Halfpenny faces up to four months out of action with the dislocated shoulder he picked up against England.
