The Ospreys have suffered a blow with the news that loose-head prop Duncan Jones is set for a spell on the sidelines.

The 33-year-old was forced off the field in the second-half of their match last Friday against Ulster. The Ospreys lost the match 15-14 and their physio Chris Towers has confirmed that Jones will miss around two months of action.

"Duncan suffered damage to the medial ligament of his knee," Towers said. "In terms of prognosis, we are looking at something around an eight week lay-off to allow him to heal and regain his strength and fitness to get back playing again."
