Sale Sharks have been hit with a double citing following their defeat to Bath at the weekend.

Sale lost 31-10 at the Recretion Ground and have now suffered five losses on the bounce since the start of the season. They received two yellow cards during the match and the pair have both been cited. Fullback Tom Brady has been charged with an "alleged dangerous tackle on Ben Skirving" which happened in the 32nd minute.

No.8 Andy Powell is alleged to have "mouthed foul language and to have made an offensive hand gesture to spectators" following his late sin-binning with just two minutes of the game left. The pair will appear in front of an RFU disciplinary panel on Tuesday.

And Wasps also have one player in the dock with Tim Payne cited for "allegedly striking Vasily Artemyev with the knee contrary to Law10.4 (a)" during their match with Northampton on Friday. Payne, who was playing in his 250th game for Wasps, was sin-binned for the incident which occurred in the dying moments of the first-half after the referee referred it to the Television Match Official. He too will find out his fate on Tuesday.
