Newly relegated Lyon have signalled their intent to bounce back to the Top 14 at the first time of asking with the signings of Clermont duo Napolioni Nalaga and Julien Bonnaire.

Star winger Nalaga was in line for a move to Toulon but Mourad Boudjellal pulled the plug on that transfer and he has opted to sign for Lyon, who will be in the PROD2 next season, alongside Clermont back-row stalwart Bonnaire.

In an announcement which saw 11 new faces confirmed as joining Lyon ahead of next season they will also be joined by David Attoub, Albertus Buckle, Karim Kouider, Zaza Navrozashvili, Jean-Baptiste Singer, Taiasina Tuifua, Agustin Figuerola, Nicholas Durand and Jérémy Gondrand.
