France coach Marc Lievremont has made five changes for his side's Six Nations clash with Wales in Paris on Saturday.
The axe has been wielded in the wake of last weekend's shock loss to Italy in Rome, with David Marty and Damien Traille replacing Yannick Jauzion and Aurelien Rougerie in midfield and Brive's Alexis Palisson recalled in place of Yoann Huget on the wing.
In the pack, Thomas Domingo has reclaimed the loose-head berth from Sylvain Marconnet and Imanol Harinordoquy is restored at the base of the scrum ahead of Sebastien Chabal.
Rougerie, Jauzion, Marconnet and Chabal have been omitted from the 22, although Clermont Auvergne captain Rougerie's absence is due to a disciplinary hearing he faces on Wednesday following an incident in his side's recent Top 14 clash with Toulon.
Huget, meanwhile, is on the bench, where Lievremont has also named the likes of Clermont back-row forward Alexandre Lapandry, Stade Francais lock Pascal Pape and Brive back Fabrice Estebanez.
Wales coach Warren Gatland has recalled Ospreys prop Adam Jones and Scarlets winger George North. The duo missed Wales' earlier Championship clashes due to injury but have been thrust into the starting line-up after Craig Mitchell and Shane Williams were ruled out due to shoulder and knee problems suffered in last weekend's 19-13 win over Ireland.
North, who scored twice on debut against South Africa in November, will make his Six Nations bow alongside Leigh Halfpenny and Lee Byrne in the back-three while Jones slots into a front-row also featuring loose-head Paul James and skipper Matthew Rees. James Hook continues at fly-half in an otherwise unchanged backline, with Stephen Jones and Dwayne Peel providing halfback cover from the bench.
