Ireland v Wales
Ireland not prepared to gamble on fitness

Ireland's manager Mick Kearney said that Leinster pair Luke Fitzgerald and Eoin Reddan will not be risked in the Six Nations clash against Wales on Saturday.

Fitzgerald was unavailable for Sunday's win over Scotland because of a hip injury, while Reddan also missed the game with a calf strain. Both players could still be released back to their club for Sunday's Pro12 match.

But he was optimistic that lock Paul O'Connell would be available after withdrawing from the Scotland match with a chest infection. He said O'Connell was "up and about again" and expected to resume training later this week.
