Aditya Mehta continues to fly the flag for India as he secured a place in the semi-finals of the inaugural Indian Open.

In the all-Indian clash in the quarter-finals, one home favourite was going to be disappointed, but it was Mehta who came out on top 4-3 to follow up his impressive last 16 win over Mark Williams.

Stephen Maguire will be Mehta's opponent in the last four after he beat Michael White 4-3.

Ding Junhui meanwhile put out world No. 1 Neil Robertson after winning 4-2, while Robbie Williams will play in his maiden ranking event semi-final after whitewashing Anthony McGill 4-0.
