Shaun Murphy made his second 147 break of the season with a maximum during the Gdynia Open in Poland, and capped off his day by lifting the trophy.

The former champion of the world made the maximum in the last frame of a 4-2 win over Jamie Jones. It is Murphy's third career-147 break; in January, Murphy completed the same during his opening match with Mark Davis at the Championship League internet-streamed event at Crondon Park.

The effort against Jones in Poland - at the last 16 stage of the tournament - earned Murphy £500 from the rolling 147 pot. It was the 104th maximum break in snooker's history.

And Murphy went on to win the event, beating Fergal O'Brien 4-1 in the final to land trophy since the Brazilian Masters in 2011.
