Trump: I'd take Olympic gold over World Championship win

Judd Trump says he would rather win Olympic gold than the World Championship after snooker's governing bodies submitted a bid for inclusion at the 2020 Games in Tokyo.
The 25-year-old Bristolian reached the Crucible final in 2011, where he was beaten by John Higgins, but has welcomed the idea of having a shot of adding a medal to his mantelpiece.
"If I could play there once in my lifetime and get the gold medal then I certainly think it would top winning the World Championship," Trump told BBC Sport.
"I never thought I would get a chance to play there. What makes it so special is that it only happens once every four years.
"Everyone tries so hard to get there, the passion shows. If it happened often, then maybe it wouldn't be as good."
The World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association says it has submitted the bid due to the sport's worldwide appeal - that includes four ranking tournaments in the Far East.
Trump, who won the China Open five years ago, added: "Snooker is a lot bigger than some of the stuff that is already in there. It certainly gets more viewing figures so I don't see why it shouldn't be in there.
"It has proved that it deserves to be there. It will do well, especially in Japan. You will get a lot of people watching it."
