Pumas captain signs for Begles

Argentine captain Alessandro Arbizu has signed a three year contract with French elite rugby union side Begles-Bordeaux, the club announced Wednesday.

The 29-year-old fly-half, currently playing with French rivals Brive, joins four Puma team-mates at Begles - hooker Federico Mendez, second row Ignacio Fernandez-Lobe and props Agustin Lopresti and Fernando Guattieri.

The French club has been rebuilding with several new recruits, including second row Nordine El Mekkhaoui from Agen and Jerome Carre from Grenoble.
