Grau to leave Sarries
London
July 13, 2000

Argentine prop Roberto Grau has been forced out of Saracens as the London club look to strengthen their foreign legion.

Grau has been transfer-listed because Sarries are looking to import an overseas fly-half.

As the Premiership restrictions for next season allow only two foreign imports per side and Saracens have already announced the capture of French international Thomas Castaignede, Grau is the man who finds himself surplus to requirements.

The Pumas' front-row moved to Vicarage Road from Gauteng in 1997 and was part of the team which clinched the Tetley's Bitter Cup two years ago.
