Honiball out of quarter-final clash
October 20, 1999

Nick Mallett has revealed that he is unlikely to include Henry Honiball in the Springbok side for the quarter final against England on Sunday.
The coach is also unwilling to include Brendan Venter, even if he wins his appeal against suspension.
"I can't wait for Brendan. I'm announcing the side on Thursday," Mallett stated "Henry Honiball had a good run on Tuesday and will maybe get on the bench. But we're practising this week with Jannie de Beer and Pieter Muller."
"There's probably 90 percent chance of going into the game with those two players," said the English born Mallett.
Without both Honiball and Venter the South African midfield will lack its two main playmakers and their absence could dictate South Africa's style of play.
"We've got to dominate among the forwards and let De Beer turn the English pack around."
