2001 Tri-Nations fixtures
November 13, 2000

The Springboks will start their 2001 Vodacom Tri-Nations campaign on home soil. It will be the first time since 1997 that this will happen.

The Boks kick-off the Vodacom Tri-Nations against the All Blacks at Fedsure Park Newlands in Cape Town on July 21 before facing defending champions Australia at Minolta Loftus in Pretoria on July 28.

After a two-week break, the Boks travel to Perth for the return match against the Wallabies at the Subiaco Oval on August 18 and they end their campaign against the All Blacks at Eden Park in Auckland on August 25.

The last time the Boks opened their campaign at home was against New Zealand at Ellis Park in 1997. This was followed by the two away matches before they finished up against Australia in Pretoria.
