Wallabies hit the road early in 2001 Tri-Nations

Australia open the defence of their Tri-Nations title in 2001 against South Africa, in Bloemfontein, on July 28.

South Africa and New Zealand kick-off the series in Cape Town on July 21.

The Wallabies will not play their first game at home until August 18, when they meet South Africa, in Perth.

They then have a week off, before heading to New Zealand for the final game against the All Blacks at Stadium Australia on September 1.
