Four changes for Ireland
November 14, 2000
Ireland have made four changes to the side which swamped Japan for the visit of South Africa to Lansdowne Road next Sunday. Girvan Dempsey replaces Geordan Murphy at full back, while Rob Henderson is called into the centre in place of Shane Horgan.
Paddy Johns, who did not train on Monday after taking a knock against the Japanese is replaced by Ulster colleague Gary Longwell, who is set for his first test start. The final change sees Eric Miller switch places with Andy Ward, who like Johns and Horgan is on the bench. |
