Dallaglio to captain the Barbarians

England and Wasps' Lawrence Dallaglio has accepted an invitation to captain the Barbarians against South Africa on Decemebr 10 at the Millennium Stadium.

President of the Barbarians, Micky Steele-Bodger, said: "The Barbarians are delighted that Lawrence has accepted our invitation to captain the team against South Africa.

"I am sure that his leadership skills and experience will help to draw the players from seven nations together into one team."

Brian O'Driscoll, Matt Burke, Daniel Herbert, Carlos Spencer, Neil Jenkins, Byron Kelleher, Richard Harry, Christian Cullen, Naka Drotske, David Giffin, Matthew Kelly and Norm Maxwell are among those confirmed to play for the Barbarians.
