Perry and Greening granted recalls

England have made two changes to their starting line-up for Saturday's clash against South Africa at Twickenham.

Bath full-back Matt Perry and Wasps hooker Phil Greening are recalled to the side after missing last weekend's 19-0 triumph over Argentina.

Perry returns at the expense of his Bath colleague Iain Balshaw, who drops down to the replacements' bench, while Greening has recovered from injury to keep out Mark Regan.

Perry will equal Jon Webb's record as England's most capped full-back when they look to complete a second victory in succession against the Springboks after toppling them in Bloemfontein five months ago.

England's Six Nations skipper Matt Dawson has won the scrum-half battle ahead of Kyran Bracken, with Saracens prop Julian White resisting a strong challenge from Phil Vickery.

England team to play South Africa at Twickenham on Saturday: M Perry (Bath); B Cohen (Northampton), M Tindall (Bath), M Catt (Bath), D Luger (Saracens); J Wilkinson (Newcastle), M Dawson (Northampton); J Leonard (Harlequins), P Greening (Wasps), J White (Saracens), M Johnson (Leicester, capt), D Grewcock (Saracens), R Hill (Saracens), N Back (Leicester), L Dallaglio (Wasps).

Replacements: M Regan (Bath), D Flatman (Saracens), P Vickery (Gloucester), M Corry (Leicester), K Bracken (Saracens), W Greenwood (Harlequins), I Balshaw (Bath).
